Administration on Aging has issued two program announcements for grant
applications:

The Scientific Basis Of Complementary And Alternative Medicine
March 8, 2002 -
A national survey revealed that in 1997 over 42 percent of the
American public used complementary and alternative medicine, at a cost of
$27 billion per year, which exceeded out-of-pocket spending for all U.S.
hospitalizations.

Is Redesigned
Vice President Dick Cheney launched the redesigned FirstGov.gov website
February 27, 2002. FirstGov.gov is the U.S. Government’s official
Internet portal. This is a totally new look and feel for FirstGov.
Folic
Acid Possibly A Key Factor In Alzheimer's Disease Prevention
March 1, 2002 - Mouse experiments suggest
that folic acid could play an essential role in protecting the brain
against the ravages of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative
disorders, according to scientists at the National Institute on Aging.
